This local sustainable pop-up is back, with more eco-friendly brands and a new location
Co-founded by Ada Slivinski and Kati Moore, Warehouse’s goal is to allow local, eco-conscious brands—that couldn't otherwise afford a retail space—to share their products with the community, while also letting shoppers enjoy a friendly in-person shopping experience.
This year, Warehouse will run from August 18th to 23rd and is setting up shop in a studio in Kitsilano, Vancouver’s go-to summer hot spot.
“We’ve taken all the best things about Warehouse and condensed it into one week,” says Moore, “Each day will have a unique special event, and there’s a much higher likelihood of running into the faces behind the brands when you pop in!”
Slivinski and Moore say they have streamlined the brands for 2022, shifting to a self-care theme. Pop into the shop and you’ll find loungewear, skincare, the best pillows ever, candles, home decor, jewellery and crystals. Participating brands include Hello Sunday, House of Weekend, Hudson and Oak, Lit Candles and more.
“West Broadway has great walkability, we are in a beautiful historic building, and we’re surrounded by endless coffee and snacks,” says Moore, “What more could you ask for?”
